Perfect Moment Monday

Lori at Write Mind Open Heart hosts Perfect Moment Monday on the last Monday of every month. In her words:

Perfect Moment Monday is about noticing a perfect moment rather than creating one. Perfect moments can be momentous or ordinary or somewhere in between.

There’s a moment every Monday that I particularly enjoy. It’s about 840 am, when we’re on our way home with Abby, and she finally comes fully awake and gets over her grumpiness. I don’t have to look at her to know when it happens, because she lets us know by becoming her normal chatterbox self, pointing out the choo choo trains and the horse sign we always pass.

Today we also hit the grocery store on our way home. Abby is now big enough for her own buggy, and stopped to pose so Dad could take a picture.

Too bad we missed the photo op of her grabbing the bottom-most apple in the pyramid. Fortunately we only had four jumpers. Good times!

Oh, I love it when they become human again after being sleepy or hungry.

What an adorable shopping-helper (and apple-picker-upper)!

Oh yes, tired vs rested is like night and day!

She’d have brought the whole pile of apples home if we’d let her…I can just see them strewn throughout the house, three separate bites taken from each, and all the stickers on her belly.

      Thanks, Lori!

So sweet and perfect for sure! Thank you for sharing your Abby’s adorableness! Love that your grocery store has carts like that.

I love how you captured the simple joy of a perfect moment. I still love how my 9 year old boy wakes up, same way. Cute picture!

  4. I love this! Perfect! I love those little carts.
